Amy completed the Practical Nursing school at Mid-East and achieved her LPN in 1989. She received her ADN from Hocking College & became a Registered Nurse in 1992. Amy continued her Education at Ohio University and received Bachelor's Degree of Nursing Science in 2002.
Amy has 9 years of previous instruction in the Health Occupations field with the district then returned to once again teach in the Health Occupations programs in Adult Education in 2013. Amy's primary responsibility is teaching our State Tested Nurse Aide program; however, she teaches and assists with clinicals in the other Adult Health Occupations programs.
Amy has worked in a wide variety or nursing roles including: long-term critical care, hospice, sub-acute, corrections, and also nursing instruction. She presently has ALLS, NRP, and TNCC certifications.
