Students from Mid-East Career were recently able to showcase their career-tech programs at a Career Day held at West Muskingum Middle School. The event was held for over 110 fifth grade students. Mid-East programs featured during the day included Cosmetology; Criminal Justice; Robotics, Automation & Design; Diesel Technology; Electrical Technologies; Auto Body Repair Technology; and Dental Assisting. Elementary students rotated to presenters where they learned about education requirements, tools, job outlook, job environment, career pathways, and more for each career field. The Career Day was coordinated by Robin McQuaid, Mid-East Career Specialist and the fifth grade team at West Muskingum Middle School.
